Over time, my blog has taken many shapes, names, and forms. I’ve been hosted on my friends’ domains, my domain, free servers, blog servers, and now WordPress, which I suppose would fall under the last category. I can’t say exactly when my first blog was created, though I would guess it was sometime in middle school, in the sixth grade, perhaps. That would be year 2002, or roughly around then. I can’t remember all of the names my blogs have taken either, but here are the more recent ones to name a few: Ethereal, Sam Byul, Everyday, Namida, and now Childish Indulgences. Actually, I lied. Ethereal may have been my first blog name.
Anyway, I don’t know where the name “Childish Indulgences” came from. It was just catchy so I used it. I moved my blog here from LJ because LJ decided to “upgrade” their system and provide people more pointless, more ugly layouts. The whole thing gave me a massive headache so I switched. WordPress is much more familiar to me, as I used it for many years before when I managed my own blog on an actual server (you know, aside from the free ones).
I’ll probably be too lazy to create my own layouts, so will just use pre-made layouts available on WP.
I just realized that all the time this has been up, I didn’t really mention anything about the content of this blog, just the history. This is a place where I put my rants, ramblings, and whatever else pops into my mind and/or tickles my fancy. I’m an irrational person at times, so some of the things I say may not make sense or may be unfounded. If you came expecting essays backed up with tons of evidence, you probably won’t find it. This is just a blog, just my thoughts, just me. So enjoy
